Anti-abortion campaign sets a new low in politics | Toronto Star

The trend toward militant activism is growing everywhere. The anti-abortion movement is one of many, and not the first to use chilling pictures to move the emotions of the public. But these pictures are the most visceral. No one likes abortion, but new, more aggressive members are forcing the public to make a choice; you are either against abortion, or you are for doing this to unborn children. A powerful argument, even if it is specious. By forcing the public to pick a side, they have raised the argument to a new level. This from Canada.

I’ve known the anti-abortion movement at a fairly intimate level for 20 years and it’s obvious that a new, younger generation of activists is moving the cause into an even more militant direction. These leaflets show gory pictures of abortions, soaking red and ugly in clearly provocative close-up.
