Bill O'Reilly: "I Just Want To Slap" Congressman James Clyburn For Focusing On Gun Safety After Orlando
BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): Hey Bill, on a serious note just building off what Abby just read about the ISIS terror ties to Mateen, it’s so transparent now. Two trips to Saudi Arabia, a linkage to a suicide bomber in Syria, an American. Why are people having trouble connecting the dots today?
BILL O’REILLY: That’s an excellent question, and it just angers me. There’s two separate issues, there’s the terrorism and then there’s the gun control. But was it Congressman Clyburn, is that his name?
AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): From South Carolina.
O’REILLY: Yeah. He gets all, ‘It’s not about terrorism, it’s about gun control.’ And I just want to slap him, with all due respect. What it is going to take? Do the ISIS people have to come to your backyard, do they have to put you in a cage? Because they will. So when you start to tell Americans lies, that there isn’t a terror threat, that it’s all about gun control, and only if we banned all guns we’d be safe from ISIS. When you start to lie at that level, and it’s acceptable lies, then we’re in trouble as a country.
