Crack reporter Anna Kooiman got punked on Fox News, reporting that Barack Obama was supporting a museum dedicated to Muslim culture that was closed due to the shutdown.
So let’s think about this. The whole government shuts down, and the President decides to spend his own money to keep a Muslim cultural center open. Close the War Memorials. Close the museums. Open the Jihad Center. The one that was being funded by the government. The government that keeps church and state separate. That government.
In the twenty-four hour news business, you read the teleprompter, and do what the man behind the curtain tells you. You don’t ever say ‘Hey, why the hell would he do that?’ because you don’t have time to think about it. And it is not your job. You read the prompter.
Journalism is dead. The Tucker Carlson’s and Brian Kilmead’s buried it. They took a fairly okay profession, and filled it with jive innuendo, with yellow slurry, and red herrings.
The government has been shut down since Tuesday. The co-hosts of “Fox and Friends Saturday” lamented the closure of the World War II Memorial, which Kooiman claimed “doesn’t seem fair especially” because “President Obama has offered to pay out of his own pocket for the museum of Muslim culture.”
