Marco Rubio Is Not The Problem

Imagine that you became a member or the United States Senate, and four years later you hated your job with every fiber of your being? I’m no big fan of Marco Rubio, but I see his point. We have turned the business of government into the worst job a body could have.

You spend most of your time begging for money. The rest of the time you try to work with the duds on both sides who are good at fundraising, and suck at legislating. You have watch-dogs that constantly badger you for every vote they disagree with, and in this atmosphere, there is at least one for every vote you take. No wonder Marco avoids the office.

Lawrence Lessig is right. We need to change the way government works. The system has collapsed. Good talent will not endure this nonsense. Even Marco Rubio.
