Mohammed Morsi sentenced to death
When a military coup seizes control of a country, and the duly elected leader of a young democracy is sentenced to death for crimes against the state, something is rotten. What reeks even more is the lack of outrage. But the military of Egypt is US-friendly, and the Muslim Brotherhood, not so much.
And what of Nouri al-Maliki? What about the crime of destroying ten years of American blood and sweat?
And Bashar al-Assad? What is the sentence for killing 200,000 of your own?
Nothing.
So, a decade from now, the real truth will out, and we will lament the injustice of it. What madness.
