U.S. Intercepts Reportedly Contradict Attorney General On Russia Contacts

Attorney General Jeff Sessions as he was sworn-in on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., in June. He testified that suggestions that he colluded with Russia to interfere in the U.S. presidential election was a "contemptible lie."The Washington Post reports that spy agencies intercepted conversations with Russia’s U.S. ambassador suggesting he and Jeff Sessions discussed campaign matters during mid-2016 meetings.
