Charles Van Zant is concerned. The Republican Representative thinks the testing service contracted in Florida for Common Core may be promoting homosexuality.
You remember taking the SAT tests in high school? All that tension and fear building in you as you entered a smelly high school gymnasium and sat with all the other freaked out kids. Mom had basically told you to come back with your shield, or on it. You entire future rested on this one four-hour segment of your worthless little high school life.
What better time to encourage homosexuality?
“These people, that will now receive $220 million from the state of Florida unless it’s stopped, will promote double-mindedness in state education and attract every one of your children to become a homosexual as they possibly can.” – Charles Van Zant
How do you get from Common Core to this bizarre stand? Operation Education.
“Our founders established this nation on a firm foundation of biblical principle and sought to both affirm and protect the proper jurisdictions of family government, church government and civil government. Civil government was to be limited to its Constitutional role alone and was to protect the family, church and individual as they fulfilled their God-given responsibilities.”
And let us not forget one more fly in the homosexual ointment. WallBuilders.
WallBuilders is an organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built – a foundation which, in recent years, has been seriously attacked and undermined. In accord with what was so accurately stated by George Washington, we believe that “the propitious [favorable] smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation which disregards the eternal rules of order and right which heaven itself has ordained.”
In a nutshell, Rep Van Zant is one of many nuts who believe that government has once again overstepped its authority. The founding fathers established limited, Christian government blessed by God himself, and the Department of Education is but one brick in a giant wall that seeks to surround us like a prison.
Having an education which enables you to read, and write, and think, is not important.
